Terms of use
Plain-English version: these terms cover using buildwithik.com and its free tools: June, our AI assistant, the site audit, and booking a call. The free tools are a starting point, not professional advice, and an AI writes part of what they say, so check before you act on it. Paid work is covered by the statement of work you sign with us, not by these terms.
Effective date: October 5, 2026.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website, buildwithik.com (the "site"), is run by Build With IK LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, together with our studio in Nepal ("BuildWithIK", "we", "us"). These terms apply when you visit the site or use its free tools: June, the site audit, booking a call and asking for a call back. By using the site you agree to them, and where a form says so next to its button, pressing the button confirms it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who the site is for
The site is for businesses and the people who work for them. Use it only if you are at least 18 and, when you act for a company, you are allowed to. It is not meant for children (see our privacy policy).
3. Paid work is covered by your statement of work
When you hire us, the proposal and statement of work you sign covers that work, together with any NDA or Data Processing Addendum between us. Nothing on the site, nothing June says and nothing in an audit report is an offer, a quote or a promise about a project. Prices, timelines and terms bind us only when they are in a statement of work we have both signed. If these terms and a signed statement of work disagree, the statement of work wins. Signing a proposal online, on the private page we send you, and checking a signed document at /verify work as those pages describe.
4. June, our AI assistant
June is an AI assistant, not a person. The suggested questions are answered with text we wrote. Anything else you type or say is answered by an AI model run by a third-party provider (our privacy policy names it), working from our own information. If you talk instead of typing, your browser turns your speech into text first.
AI answers can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, even when they sound sure. June cannot sign anything, agree a price or change a statement of work. Check anything important with a founder before you rely on it.
Do not share passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive or confidential information with June. For anything confidential, talk to a founder first. We keep your conversation, and a founder may read it to follow up with you; our privacy policy explains how long we keep it.
5. The site audit
The audit opens a website in a real browser, the way a customer would, and asks AI models to judge it and suggest fixes. It is automated: it can miss things, misread a page, or suggest something that does not suit your business. It is not a security test, a legal or accessibility compliance review, or professional advice. Use your own judgment and test changes before you make them.
Submit only a site you own or are allowed to have reviewed, and do not use the audit to overload, probe or harm any site. If a site blocks automated tools, we may review it by hand instead.
If you press "Share this report", anyone with the link can open the report, including its screenshots, for 12 months; then we delete it. Share it only with people you want to see it. If a shared report shows your site and you want it taken down, write to us and we will remove it.
6. Booking a call
Give accurate details when you book a call or ask for a call back. We record and transcribe calls to keep notes unless you tell us not to; our privacy policy explains this and how to opt out. Share information about other people only if you are allowed to. If you cannot make it, please cancel or move the call with the link in your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel bookings that look automated, abusive or unrelated to a project.
7. Using the site fairly
Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read, cite and link our public pages, as our robots.txt says. Please do not:
- use the site or its tools for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- use automated means to send messages to June, run audits, make bookings or call our /api/ endpoints, or try to get around rate limits or security;
- probe for vulnerabilities or interfere with how the site works (if you find a security issue, please tell us at [email protected]; we welcome responsible reports);
- try to make June ignore or reveal its instructions or produce harmful content, or use June or the audit to build a competing product or a dataset;
- send content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful or malicious;
- pretend to be someone else, or book calls for others without their permission;
- use the site from a country or region under comprehensive US sanctions, or if you are on a US government restricted-party list.
We may limit, suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
8. Our content
We, or the people who licensed it to us, own the site’s content: its text, design, images, videos, code, demos, June and the audit tool. You may view it, link to it and quote short parts with credit, and the search engines and AI crawlers our robots.txt welcomes may read and index it. Otherwise, do not copy, republish or reuse it in bulk, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. Case studies and demos show our work; the data in them is sample or synthetic unless we say otherwise.
9. What you send us
What you type to June, the sites you submit and what you tell us when you book stay yours. You let us use them to answer you, run the tools, keep the site safe and improve it, as our privacy policy describes. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
10. Other services
The site uses or links to other services, such as Zoom, Google, Groq, Cloudflare and LinkedIn. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do. We are not responsible for other websites we link to.
11. Accessibility
We want the site to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. If something does not work for you, write to [email protected]: we will help you another way and fix it where we can.
12. No warranties for the free site
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide the site and its free tools "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promise that they are accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, and we give no warranty, express or implied, including that they are merchantable, fit for a particular purpose or do not infringe anyone’s rights. A signed statement of work, not this section, sets the warranty for paid work.
13. Limits on our liability for the free site
The site and its tools are free. So, as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, from using or being unable to use the site or its free tools, or from relying on what June or an audit says;
- our total liability to you for everything relating to the site and its free tools is limited to US$100.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, such as for fraud, and they do not change the liability terms of a statement of work you have signed with us.
14. If you misuse the site
If you break these terms or the law in using the site, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including reasonable legal fees.
15. Ending or changing access
You can stop using the site at any time. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site or its tools, or block anyone who breaks these terms, at any time. Sections 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 16 keep applying after that.
16. Law and disputes
The laws of the State of Wyoming govern these terms and any dispute about the site, without regard to their conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute comes up, write to us first and give us 30 days to try to settle it. If we cannot, it goes to the state courts in Sheridan County, Wyoming, or the US District Court for the District of Wyoming, and you and we accept their jurisdiction; either of us may instead use a small-claims court that has jurisdiction. If the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be removed by agreement, these terms do not take them away. They also do not change your privacy rights under the law that applies to you (see our privacy policy).
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, say so on this page. The terms in force when you use the site apply to that use.
18. The rest
These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about using the site. A signed statement of work, NDA or Data Processing Addendum covers paid work and confidential information, and our referral partner agreement covers the referral program and its dashboard. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the site.
